Financial firms are fleeting. Swag, however, is forever

Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Washington Mutual and others may be out of cash and out of existence, but their legacy lives on via the failed firms’ swag. A quick perusal of eBay reveals that 53 branded Lehman Brothers items can be had ranging from pens to mugs to a “carry-all” bag, which is currently going for $61 (Act now!). A search for Bear Stearns reveals 26 hot items including a logoed Nerf football ($2.50) and a pen ($2.99). WaMu had the most items (119), however most of them were concert tickets for the WaMu Theater. (Although, clocks and cash bags can be had for 99 cents.) Wachovia yielded similar results with concert tickets for The Dead at the Wachovia Spectrum topping the auction. Maybe someone should auction off the naming rights to these stadiums on eBay? The Brandfreak Theater has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
