Joe Isuzu is still doing commercials, and he still can't be trusted

Joe

Isuzu may not have much of a presence in the U.S. anymore, but Joe Isuzu does. Or at least, the actor who played him does.
David Leisure, who's been in everything from General Hospital to 10 Things I Hate About You, can been seen around the country in a non-auto role as a shifty insurance adjuster. In the ad, Leisure is practicing his golf swing in his office when he gets word that a client is disputing a claim. Leisure is unperturbed—until he hears which law firm is taking the case. Which firm is it? Depends on where you see the ad. If you live in Richmond, Va., it might be Marks & Harrison, a personal injury law firm. The ad, created by a Massachusetts firm called Market Masters, which specializes in custom-filmed spokespersons, is generic—so any law firm willing to pay can get their name in it. (Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be online.)
Aaron Barr, director of marketing for Marks & Harrison, says his firm has used various ads from Market Masters over the years, featuring among others, Robert (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) Vaughn and William Shatner. Yes, the William Shatner, though Barr admits, "We found that confused people." Another Market Masters star is former CHiPs actor Erik Estrada.
UPDATE: A commenter has dug up this spot on YouTube, featuring Leisure losing his appetite on behalf of the law offices of James Scott Farrin.
