Emerge's 'creative dragon' Bruce Lee embraces his namesake

Brucelee

When I was a kid, my best friend was named Michael Brady, so I know it can be tough having the same name as someone famous. But sometimes these things can apparently work to your advantage. That appears to be the case with Bruce Lee, a veteran of shops like OgilvyOne, Wunderman, Scali and Ammirati, who, as we mentioned earlier, has joined Emerge Partners as "creative dragon." We weren't able to get a comment on Lee's title before, but now, in a statement, Emerge executive creative director Johann Thompson-Cook defends it. "I told Bruce that he may as well embrace the pop cultural reference to his name," she says. Hmm. Johann Thompson-Cook. There's a name that begs for the title of top chef.
