Some toasty oatmeal on a frigid winter day? That's more like it.

Warm-up-here

Brrr! We loves us some nice, hot oatmeal on a snowy day. It beats a freezing cup of Honest Tea, that's for sure. No wonder these Jamba Juice posters caught our eye.
The juice master has installed the ads (see larger versions here) across NYC in a push to market its new organic, steel cut oatmeal. The breakfast item was test-marketed in Chicago last month, and Jamba has since embarked on a national rollout.
To extend the warm and fuzzy theme, the company also recruited a team of NYC knitters to decorate the second floor of the Time Warner Center with yarn-inspired art. (One message-board post seeking knitters for six-hour shifts advertised an hourly rate of $10.) New Yorkers with their eyes not glued to the Hudson River were encouraged to stop by on Thursday night to check out the theme, which was making "cold things warm."
Too bad we couldn't go. Still, the warmth of fresh-cut oatmeal beckons. In fact, it's all BrandFreak will be eating when it gets its wisdom teeth out next week. "Lose the teeth. Keep the wisdom," one marketing professor consoles us. We hope.
